形态描述

鉴别特征：额角伸过眼，成体背腹脊深，齿式3～6／0～2，齿明显；第二触角鳞片长为宽的2．75倍；第三颚足末第二节长不到宽的2倍；第二步足可动指外缘均匀凸起，切缘具凹陷，对应固定指切缘的活塞状突起；体色浅绿，具黑、白、红小色斑组成的细的纵条纹；最大眼眶后头胸甲长度为7 mm。
共栖宿主：鹿角珊瑚属Acropora石珊瑚类。分类讨论：本种曾与C．viridis混在一起，被认为是同一种，Bruce(1974a)描述后者时将二者分开。二种在形态上很相似，但身体色斑不同，C．viridis身体具均匀分散的黑色和黄白色小色斑(Bruce，1984)。

红海，埃及，苏丹，沙特阿拉伯，肯尼亚，坦桑尼亚，马达加斯加，塞舌尔群岛，印度，安达曼群岛至印度尼西亚，菲律宾，日本，向东至萨摩亚群岛以东，斐济群岛，珊瑚海，澳大利亚，卡罗林群岛，马绍尔群岛，新喀里多尼亚。
